Meet Jennifer Brennan
YOUR MUCH KNEADED MASSAGE EXPERT
Hi there!
I'm Jennifer Brennan
Proud owner of Much Kneaded Wellness
Jennifer Brennan is a massage therapist and Reiki practitioner with more than 20 years of hands on experience. Most people call her Jen.
Warm, kind, passionate, and unapologetically quirky, Jen listens carefully and creates a judgment free space where clients can relax and feel at ease. Her work is attentive, unrushed, and individualized. She is devoted to helping improve people’s quality of life.
Her specialty is deep tissue massage blended with soothing, calming strokes. She goes deep where it is needed and softens intentionally to keep the nervous system regulated. She keeps the work at the precipice, allowing change without pushing the body into a stress response.
Jen is especially talented at relieving neck and hip pain. She also regularly works with shoulder pain, low back pain, and sciatica.
A retired competitive roller derby skater, Jen’s own injuries inform her understanding of pain, compensation, and recovery in the body. After a hip replacement and multiple dislocations, she has personal experience with pain and what it takes to find relief.
Over the years, Jen’s work has extended beyond physical pain alone. She teaches that self abandonment is at the root of much of our suffering and physical pain, and that disconnection from self is often driven by shame and fear of rejection.
She blends science and spirituality in a grounded, practical way. Concepts like vibes, energy, and frequency are understood as emotional energy. Jen helps people decondition patterns they were taught that keep them disconnected from their power.
In addition to her hands on work, Jen is a spiritual teacher. She is deeply passionate about teaching self love, nervous system regulation, and dismantling the societal shame around rest. She teaches embodiment, the practice of living in the body rather than in the head where it often feels safer, so people can hear and respond to their body’s needs.
Breathwork is included in every session, as it is one of the most effective ways to become embodied. Jen uses breathwork to help clients relax enough to receive the massage and feel its full benefit.
She loves helping people create personal freedom so the body doesn’t have to hold stress anymore.
